Return to Sri Lanka

Members of the team returned from Johannesburg to Colombo on Friday 6 January 1995.

Ranjith Fernando said that staying back to play side matches after failing to qualify for the Mandela Cup gave opportunities to team members who hadn't played much but made it difficult to motivate the senior players.
