2011 | The 2011 Don Argus report recommended that in future the Chairman of Selectors should be a full-time paid position, which ruled out Hilditch who had a legal practice, and that the national talent manager, Greg Chappell, should not be part of the selection committee. The review also recommended that both the Australian coach and captain be added to the national selection panel. In August 2011 Cricket Australia decided to appoint John Inverarity as full-time “national selector”. Jamie Cox stood down on 1 September 2011. |
